I need to use a Mac for my daily work and I work remotely. So I wanted a dock that would allow me to use my monitor and my home setup for my PC. This dock is compatible with both! Most other docks that claim to work with both Mac and PC must have USB-C/Thunderbolt and are not compatible if you want to use the dock with a PC via USB 3. The PC is plugged in and connected. play -- I literally just plugged in the USB cable and it worked on its own. For Mac I had to download the driver and once installed it worked plug and play too. VERY EASY. Display settings have recognized everything for Mac. It comes with two cables (one is USB 3 and the other is USB-C). I use USB 3 all the time, which also works with Mac USB-C to USB adapters. This device came up as an ad in a Revain search and I'm so glad it's the only one I've found that works like this, it's exactly what I need! Lots of ports for everything, no problems with anything. A top product in every respect! Highly recommended.
