A solid 3.5 stars but not enough for 4. We got it for a guest bed/home office. We wanted a "couch" but unfortunately the pandemic stopped their business so we decided to go with this unbranded version which is about $100 cheaper. I was originally planning on returning this but the return shipping was so annoying I decided to just keep it.1. First, the fabric is of decent quality - nicer than I expected. Dark gray color same as the photos.2. However, the mattress is NOT 8 inches. It's about 6.5 - and that's generous. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and if it hasn't "expanded" to its full size by now, it never will. Plus, as mentioned, it's low to the ground. It's a 6.5 inch mattress pretending to be 8 inches - that's the height. It's not a design flaw, it's just a matter of understanding the product you are buying. We plan to get a platform couch to walk under as soon as possible.4. As a sofa, it's not very comfortable, which is a shame. We had to use a lot of bed pillows to balance the "backless" style. As a mattress, it is surprisingly beautiful. Much better than a futon! He's solid in a good way. The center seam isn't a problem as long as you place sheets on top of it like you would on a regular bed. Definitely more comfortable as a bed than as a sofa. The signature "double bed" version is definitely better at 8 inches. But since this one costs $100 less, I think it does the job as long as you're not using it as your main sofa.
