This is somehow too much for a camera for the money. I'm impressed with many things a 'smart camera' can do, especially the sharpness of a long zoom. It's a bit bulky and heavy, but I think it makes holding the camera easier for long shots. My first recordings were of the King of Norway speaking at my granddaughter's prom in a fairly dark arena in Tacoma. I took close-up shots of the blossoms on the trees and look forward to more shots of the birds. Aside from the long zoom that I can use for bird watching, I preferred the Fujifilm FinePix S9200 to the newer models as it doesn't have electronic mechanisms to interfere with my pacemaker and doesn't require unusually large and shaped batteries that are difficult to charge are disassembled. find when I travel.
