Sometimes paper cuts or irritated fingertips just won't heal, and fingertip protectors (sometime called "finger condoms") are the only solution. I gave them a 4 for comfort because I usually know the underside that keeps the coating on my finger. The durability rating is based on what this product is - once you put it on your finger it can rarely be reused. But for the price, for such a large package, it doesn't really matter. I got tired of buying multiple size packs at the drugstore because they seemed to be made for elementary school kids and ended up throwing out all but 4 or 5 large ones.
