First of all I want to say that my rating is based on comparing what I paid and what I got. If I paid $250 for it it would be a 3 or 4 star rating. But at $65 for a royal set, it's as good as it gets. I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for but based on the reviews and the price I pulled the trigger and not much to lose here. I have to say that this bed set wins in all categories compared to my old $200 set that I bought from major stores. If you're looking for something very heavy and warm, this may not be for you. It's relatively light and very soft. It's surprisingly warm for its weight, to the point where you have to open your legs at night to regulate your sleeping temperature. These very heavy and warm blankets are just not for me, I don't like to sweat in my sleep. This set keeps the ideal temperature and feels comfortable. My wife wasn't very happy with me when I told her I ordered this on my own without her opinion or input. But I already knew that given the price, she would immediately discard it as an option, thinking we would have to spend at least a few hundred for a suitable bedding. Needless to say, this bed gave me one of those rare family moments where my wife was reluctant to admit I was right and even appreciated my choice of color.
