Review on Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment: Portable Swimming Pool Float Bluetooth Speaker - Waterproof, Shockproof, and Dustproof with Superior Sound Quality by Ronald Dimatulac

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Summer just got a little better

Why wasn't this invented sooner? We've had floating chlorine dispensers for years, but before 2017, did anyone come up with a floating speaker? I mean, sure I could have invented and patented this a few years ago, but I'm a freelance writer; Being a great thinker is not my job. That being said, I'm glad SOMEONE finally decided to shuffle a pool float speaker while I'm still young enough to use it because honestly I don't know how I've had pool parties without this thing. Set up Sonos on deck? Worried about getting splattered? Make sure my hands are dry before changing the volume? That's a level of anxiety I could do without. Sure it's a bit annoying to have TWO things floating around to bump into during a round, but at least with the speaker I can hear it as I get closer. The most impressive thing about this product - apart from the fact that it even exists - is the sound quality. It's not necessarily loud or muffled, but it does have a BIG sound if that makes sense. Music feels big and deep, rather than metallic and thick like many speakers in this price range. This quality is even more noticeable in water (obviously everything in/near water sounds cooler). Overall, this is my best seasonal purchase so far this year, and I'll potentially use it as a regular Bluetooth speaker during fall, winter, and spring.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Water gets on the speaker and takes a while to dry out
