I like this article very much. It's so easy to use and customize to your needs. I use it with my Canon t3i DSLR and it connects easily and allows me to stabilize shots and get angles that would otherwise be impossible/practical. I mainly use it as a shoulder rig, but it can also act as a bird's-eye view cage and in any other random configuration you can think of. It features 20-1/4 sockets that fit a standard tripod screw size, allowing you to connect a variety of external tools like an LED light or external flash. the arms are not quite taut in some places, so that the joints are not very flexible. You could probably fix this by replacing them with better parts, but I didn't have to. Overall, I can recommend videographers an inexpensive tool.
