Worked great for my little pico experiment. The light is simple, straightforward and uncomplicated. There are two channels and the light temperature looks good and doesn't result in a missed spectrum. I use this in a 2.1 gallon rimless cube and it has enough power to breed Zoas, LPS and beginner SPS like Birds Nests and Stylo (keep SPS close to the top and an intensity of 80-100%) . There are also timer intervals, which is very handy. My advice with this lamp is: manage your expectations and don't think you can blow more than 100 pairs in an aquarium larger than 12 x 12 x 12; It's a picolight. If you use two of these, which are about 12x12x24, you'd be in great shape for Zoa, Ricordia, LPS and SPS for beginners. as a solidly built lamp of the upper class. It just doesn't have all the fancy programmable, working fans and water resistance. Value... considering the pandemic and supply chain issues, the price is fair. I expect to pay about $40 for it before the pandemic, but it is what it is.
