I use an old pair of Pioneer HPM 100 coasters (reused) and am really impressed with the solid build quality of the coasters. The top of the Type-C stand is 15.5 x 13 while the HPM 100 is almost 15 x 15 and they protrude slightly and the speaker sits securely with no wobble. The stands can support the weight of the HPM 100 considering it weighs nearly 59 pounds. I had a pack of black felt pads in one of the boxes which was a life saver as I have hardwood floors. Beautiful views of Deer Creek. How do the speakers sound when tilted five degrees? All I can say is that it removed the sharpness (not all of it, but it's a lot better than before) since it's a bright speaker. I experience a better picture, better sound and it sounds more musical. The stands I originally had were eight inches tall with a flat 15" x 15" base, with all the expensive cables and DACs I still couldn't tame the speaker's harshness. Worth the money spent. I'm happy.
