I needed this makeup product. I wanted something with a hinge so I wouldn't have to hold a magnifying glass in one hand while applying makeup with the other. That works great. My only concern is that you have to be very close to focus or everything will be blurry, defeating the purpose. It took me some time to figure that out. A slightly longer arm or other extension would also be helpful so it can be tucked away in a corner.
