Once you get past the learning curve to set it up, this AGS will perform exactly as you would expect. Note that you will also need the Magnum Battery Monitor Kit for everything to work properly. After the professional installation of the components, my bus is now in the yard over the winter. There was a two week period when the inverter/charger was not connected to the home AC grid and during this time when the battery voltage dropped to a low level the AGS automatically started the generator to charge the batteries. The sleep time settings worked perfectly, the generator didn't start after 8pm nor before 9am. Again, there's a learning curve to overcome, but it really isn't that steep, and with a little patience and experimentation, I was quickly able to set up everything I needed.
