They are actually much larger than I expected. Came in a box in a comfortable foam rubber so as not to break. All mine arrived safely. They look great on cloth napkins, have crisp, crisp lines that aren't difficult to wipe off. I love her! My mom has a box of old white tailor's chalks and when I became addicted to sewing I decided I needed tailor's chalks too. I thought the colors would be fun and bought them for an incredibly low price. I am very happy with my purchase! I kept them in styrofoam and in a box to keep with my sewing supplies until I had a "sewing room". I have no disadvantages for you! Fun shapes, fun colors and a great buy.
