Great shoulder bag. best in backpacks

I had version 1 of this bag and now I have the darker version 2. Version 2 has two sizes to choose from (I have more). Very soft and comfortable shoulder bag. The handles are as soft as the strap. Love that it stands on its own when you lower it due to its width and semi-rigid nature (but it's still lightweight). It seems that many lines are long enough but too narrow. The clamshell opening is fantastic and allows you to access the entire main compartment at once. Easy to roll over and work standing. And the lid opens away from you, without getting in the way when you're out in the field. I place the Fuji XT-2 with the battery grip and attached long telephoto lens in the lower part of the bag, facing down. The flatter right side fits the XT-2 with battery pack and any smaller lens. Two cameras of this size (with the grip attached) fit in at once, leaving room for extra lenses, filters, etc. The outside pocket is longer and higher, but still too narrow. Optional lens caps, rags/napkins, small accessories, etc. are suitable. An iPad mini will do, and a regular 9.7-inch iPad fits comfortably without a case. I know nothing about new iPads. The bag comes with a fabric with a loop sewn in for attachment to an outside pocket. Underneath the main clamshell cover are additional colour-coded pockets that can be used to keep track of charged and discharged batteries. There is no good way to attach a tripod. There is a loop attachment point on the outside that a leg of a smaller/travel tripod can slip through, but this is not ideal. If the tripod folds compact enough (less than 13.5/14 inches), it will most likely fit in a bag. Would give 4 1/2 stars if Amazon allows it. It's tempting to add a smaller version when you need even less for trips.
