This was my first purchase of a ring light and for the price I'm very happy with it! Color rendering and color fidelity under light are impressive. As a two-tone light, it ranges from 2500K to 8500K, and at both ends of the range it was within 100K when balanced with a white card. Many of the other flashlights I've bought don't even come close! A big plus of this kit is a compact folding stand. It decays as quickly as a light, making the entire set small enough to fit in a small backpack! The stand reaches over 6 feet in height and the light reaches over 7 feet in height, making it easy to use as a main light source. The stand clamps are spring-loaded, allowing the stand to be easily moved up and down. However, the clips are made of plastic. The light seems to maintain the same brightness across the color range and at 100% power I was able to go an hour without light with two 2700-2900mWh batteries. Please note that you MUST use 2 batteries at the same time; The light will not turn on when only 1 battery is used. While using flashlights with batteries, I unrolled the AC adapters to give the flashlights a little "warm-up test" and see if they could handle being on. during a few hours. The power supplies come with a very long cable that not only takes up the lights in their full height, but also a little more so that they don't have to stand directly against the wall. The power supplies also come with a cable tie, which is a nice touch.
