Look, everyone likes it or complains about the suction cups. First, they have a really decent suction cup design and have clearly worked on a few. It is clear that not everyone will be able to do this. So our cat is an extremely fluffy long-haired lady. She had gained some weight since they fixed her and one of my first fears was that she had fallen with her. When I unboxed it I was really impressed with the size and quality. Yes, it's a plastic tube frame, but we're talking about an animal, a cat, so the thickness and quality of the frame suited me as it doesn't break under the weight. The mesh is stretchy (comfortable when lying down and snug fitting) and the cables look nice. While the suction cups looked fine, we opted for a tiny "end hook" in the top frame of our window sill instead. Put the top cable hooks on it. Worked great and didn't have to worry about moving it anywhere. We used suction cups on the frame itself and had no problems. My cat is very picky and I have never forced her to use cat toys or objects, cat houses, scratching posts, etc. This is the first thing we bought, she actually uses it! She was rescued as a premature baby, had trauma (broken tail etc.) before we rescued her and was always a bit scared. Obviously some of you have it on straight glass (doors or whatever) and need to use suction cups, but for those in a window - maybe give it a try.
