I bought three cubes and my kitties love them instantly. They came flat and were held in place with a rubber band. If the tape is removed and the cube is rotated, it will open. Each also comes with a Velcro bag so you can assemble them. The cubes themselves are very light and do not fit tightly together when using velcro. I put them on a patio with a privacy screen and they are light enough to move around in moderate winds. The kittens climbed in immediately. It would be better without straps for tying toys, they only interfere. However, they are very good value for money. However, I would be willing to pay a little more for a more powerful and heavier cube.
