Great product, wish I had discovered it sooner! I used to avoid shirts with open and versatile collars and mostly stuck to button-down collar shirts because they looked more dressy without a tie in a casual setting because the collars stayed neatly in place. But these shirts don't look that great with a tie either, unless you use a hair clip or pin to hold the collar together, but they do show off a good tie knot. Enter Wurkin Stiffs Magnetic Collar Holders and you get the best of both worlds. Welten, with a slightly rolled-up collar that makes a stand-up collar look great with or without a tie! Most images suggest this product works best without a tie to pin your collars to your shirt, but I've found you can also use them with a tie to create a great turtleneck effect without pins or buttons achieve. Just tie your tie and leave the top button undone. Then grab one of the little magnets and place it next to the collar stop and it will find its place like a heat-seeking missile. Repeat on the other collar, close the top button and tighten the tie! I ended up buying 3 more 2.0" because they are the most versatile, while 2.25" and 2.5" are too long for most of my current models. Shirts with a collar. They can get lost fairly easily, so be sure to remove the collar before taking them to the dry cleaner. I had already lost one this way so I needed a replacement.
