When I hang Christmas lights on the tree I don't need the remote which is good because this remote has too many settings and is a bit wonky as I've been trying to get it to just stay on, without dimming. I like the sight of clear lights on the tree. You are beautiful and white. I used 3 by 99ft instead of 2 by 164ft as I want to leave a light on each section of the tree when I take it apart and fold it to put away and there are 3 sections. The wire is so thin and pliable it's not bulky so they work great and are great to hold and adjust without over tightening next year! Hooray! The only change I would make would be to buy two 99ft and one 164ft as the middle section of the tree has more branches than the other two sections. It still worked great!
