Yes, the things are bright and the color is excellent! I'm a fan of LED lighting and very picky about LEDs. I care about color temperature, flicker, heat dissipation, dimmer compatibility, etc. Pros: 1. Really fantastic even color temperature. I think these lights use the latest generation of sapphire LEDs because they are a bright warm white instead of the horrible cold white of the early generation bulbs of 3-5 years ago.2. Good shape with good heat dissipation. I don't worry too much about putting them in my sconces or my glass domes. The bases do not heat up and do not swell. This is a good package.3 design. The lamps will turn off intelligently when exposed to a dimmer. I like to try these things just to laugh. I have several brands of electronic and analogue dimmers at home. In each cartridge these lamps were seen when hit by a clipped sine wave (dimmer) and shut themselves off to avoid damage. As soon as I turned on the dimmer at full power, the bulbs lit up again. Pretty cool! Cons: To be honest I haven't found anything bad yet. And it's hard for me to say that because I pride myself on finding evil.
