I bought this chair with the idea that bigger is better. I tend to hover in the 350-400lb range and have had questionable results with chairs in that range in the past. So I decided to overdo it. A few things stand out: 1. Almost too big. You need to sit far enough away that your back doesn't hit the back of the chair, so your legs barely bend. My height is 5 feet 11 inches. 2. NO replacement parts. You get exactly what you need for assembly and no extra screws. The screws on this one also seem to come loose very easily. Something I will investigate in the future is that the backrest is not adjustable. This is one of those chairs where the back cushion is held in place with the seat cushion by side handles, so be careful. old, but not when the old was new. As I sit lighter, I'm already feeling clear signs that this could be a problem in a year's time. Just take a look. Once I find some spare supports to keep my back from rocking like crazy (one fell out).
