I have super sensitive skin and wanted to start switching my products to something more natural. I first bought their toothpaste and saw that Hello had a line of deodorants. So when I needed more deodorant I figured I would try this brand first. From what I've read, switching from an aluminum deodorant to a natural deodorant can take up to a month (so you might get a bit smelly and stuff, FYI). I didn't have this problem when I switched. I tried it unscented first and only recently got a fresh scent. I try to avoid fragrances as I could be allergic to them. The smell is not strong (for me) and there is no reaction yet. You can smell some natural oils in an unscented deodorant, but nothing too strong. The deodorant did a pretty good job of getting rid of the body odor. I will say it doesn't stop me from sweating when I work out, but there isn't a good smell. I have yet to test this deodorant in very hot weather, so I'm not sure how it will work yet. I've noticed that my armpits are soft and smooth (sounds like an ad I know, but it's true). Even when shaving I have no redness. Overall, I think I'll stick with natural deodorant. It lost a star because it doesn't stop sweating during exercise and I can probably see it melting in hot conditions which can make it difficult to apply. hp I've noticed that some people have trouble getting their deodorant out. This can happen if the package gets too hot during transit and some of the oil leaks out the sides. Then it gets hard and you can't turn it. The trick is to squeeze the sides (near the top of the stick) to pull it off. (I believe there is a youtube video to give you an idea of this) But it worked for me, although it worked for my old brand. You don't have to throw it away.
