Review on JVC HAEB75P Sports Clip Headphone by Rob Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great open-ear headphones for an active lifestyle!

Owned for over 3 years. Item Usage: On average twice a week in the gym (weightlifting) and jogging. - Advantages: (Positive characteristics of the motif) - The sound quality is passable. Not a lot of bass, but if you're expecting good quality headphones that will stand up to the rigors of a workout while still giving you something to listen to, they work very well. Not audiophile quality, but still better than expected. The on-ear hooks and earbuds sit very well in the ear and are very tear-resistant even when the cable is pulled lightly. lasted up to 3 years under heavy use. Don't worry about charging or changing batteries like with Bluetooth, just throw in your gym bag and they're always ready to go. There were problems with them getting a little wet. - No noise cancellation. Some would consider this cheating, but when I'm out running or at the gym I don't want my hearing to be completely cut off from what's going on around me. They fit snugly in your ear and reproduce sound properly, but don't "plug" your ear like other headphones. clinging to things and interfering with your workout. You are buying wired headphones here so this will be an issue with all wired headphones but still something to keep in mind. Ugly: (frankly negative qualities of the product, flaws, areas for improvement, etc.) - after about 2.5 years, this item began to fail. The cable needs to be at the right angle when connected to my phone for it to work reliably, and if it moves the sound cuts out in one or both ears. I won't let that affect the review, although I really never expected what I treated so roughly to last much longer than 2 years. - Final recommendation: Buy, but consider other options first. - If you are looking for a pair of wired workout headphones, this is a great option. They offer good sound quality, are solidly built and can take a lot of abuse. I would suggest looking into bluetooth/wireless headphones though as I've recently started using some of these myself and they really expand your range of motion without worrying about whether you're using a cable or a cellphone have along. My Rating: - Five Stars - Serves the purpose of the purchase and far exceeds expectations. - Four Stars - Fulfills the purpose of purchase and meets all expectations; The product corresponds to the description and works. - Three stars - corresponds to the purpose of purchase, but does not meet all expectations; misleading publication or minor defects. - Two stars - Fulfills the purpose of the purchase somewhat, but deviates significantly from expectations / has numerous defects. - One star - in no way serves the purpose of the purchase. Totally flawed, flawed or fraudulent.
