After years of working with standard directional antennas in the attic I decided to try this omnidirectional antenna. Installation was very quick and easy and the antenna appears to be of good quality. The supplied coaxial cable also makes a decent impression. But what surprised me the most was the reception. I get channels that are easily 60-70 miles apart when installed outdoors and at about 30 feet as per the documentation says. Reception seems about the same as my large high gain directional antennas in my attic, but without the hassle of pointing and tuning. For more distant stations, I've found that turning the antenna toward the transmitter makes a difference. I've had a few stations that didn't get any signal at all and when I pointed the antenna at them they picked up about 30-40% of the signal (enough to take a picture). Overall I'm happy with this antenna and might consider installing a second one pointing the other way and combining the two signals. Another nice feature of this antenna is the built-in amplifier. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something easy to set up and connect stations from different directions.
