Fun to try not to buy

I'm a pro audio guy who has tried about 30 IEM/Chifi headphones in the past few months. These impressed me from the start. It was at the very beginning of my quest, and back then I was only trying chifi stuff. It felt like they weren't even turned on, the bass was good and deep without being overly loud, the mids were light but pleasant, and the highs were pretty strong. However, I found out later that I had the buds on the wrong side, although they fit quite well. Side switching reduced bass response and made the mids and highs even stronger. It was a fun experiment to see how far the highs can be pushed without ruining the experience. The T3s go further, but also slightly improve the highs at the expense of the lows. I wouldn't recommend them, especially for the price. You get a pair of foam tips and a pair of silicone tips, the cable is very neat at first (looks like mithril) but it tangles LIKE CRAZY and if the tangle gets tight at all it can actually unwind the winch and bend/twist the cable . . I don't think this cable will last long. That's probably why they "upgraded" to Tier 3 on ROPE. No, but you get a dumb book box. The isolation was mediocre, the noise in my system was quite low but still present. They aren't as good as IEM and I couldn't find anything critical about them. For the price compared to 215 I can't recommend them. If you really like the highs and lows, I would also recommend the Sennheiser. IE 40 Pro, which should outperform them in every way. The IE 40 Pro tips can be finicky though, they have this two depth stage thing that doesn't really work, they have a filter and a special design that adds to their sound so swapping them out can change them and the foam attached. didn't write well. However, they are probably the best high-end headphones I've tried at this price point. Shure 315 is better but twice the price. The Mackie MP-240 is also worth a look, it has a lot more bass but also strong highs, although it's expensive and doesn't have the critical capability of the Shure 315 for the same price.

Pros

they have plenty of bass if you wear them correctly.
