That's exactly what I was hoping for. I needed something very thin for the summer (a little more than a thin blanket) which was perfect. It falls far off the floor which is great for hiding in the padded bed frame I made. Because of this, I don't need it to be very long on the sides. However, if I choose not to pocket it, the padding is still exposed to look good. The color I bought, Seafoam, goes well with the color of my bedroom walls. While the photo I've attached doesn't show the color of the wall very well, it does show how well the quilt blends in. If it were thicker it wouldn't suit my needs. So if you need a blanket to get to the floor, this may not work for you unless you have a low bed. My mattress is 14 inches. Now I will say that I have waived this review as I received only one blanket when the goods arrived. 2 pillowcases were missing. I contacted the seller and received my pads in just over a week. later. Everything happens. Fixed without problems. I am happy.
