Not suitable for beginners
We liked the look and quality of the boot but we were unable to fit an 18 month old child's foot all the way into the boot. In theory, a size 5 fits him perfectly, but he's too young to help us slide his foot through a very stiff and narrow ankle. We sent the boots back and bought a pair of winter boots from a company that specializes in first sneakers.
