These beanies are doubly beautiful - cute and functional. Our little man has a huge head and all the children's hats we got from our eldest son didn't fit him. He was 10 months old when I bought them. We had to cover his head to keep him from scratching. He has eczema and is also recovering from chemo since he was 7 months old and when his hair grew back he combed the begizus out of his head. Poor guy! These hats helped me lather him with Aquaphor after he washed his own battle wounds, protect his head, and let him heal. They're pretty light and a little breathable, but they cover your ears and still sag a bit which is SUPER cute! Now I also use them in the winter when he's wearing a hoodie - they hold up pretty well and are the perfect balance of warmth without overheating him. They also wash well - they attract lint, but that's really the only downside. Nothing perfect, right?! ;)
