A few years ago I switched from traditional foldable leather wallets to minimalist wallets. The last minimalist wallet I bought and used for about a year had an aluminum/metal case that held your cards. For the most part, it worked great for storing my cards and cash in a compact, minimalist body with easy access to contents. What I did NOT like was how hard the metal material (and metal money clip) was in my back pocket when I was sitting. That's why I was looking for a new minimalist wallet! This minimalist wallet works exactly how a minimalist wallet should. Comfortably fits about 7-8 cards. It doesn't have a money clip, but a simple elastic band will do the trick. I wish in future versions of this wallet they would add a magnetic money clip for easy access to cash and then keep an elastic band on the other side to secure receipts or extra cards. Also, I wouldn't mind if they moved the elastic to the middle of the wallet rather than the top third of the wallet to better protect the items. The soft leather material is much more comfortable than the previous metal wallet I had and feels fairly durable. In fact, I accidentally left this wallet in my pants pocket and washed it one day. I let it air dry and it was just awesome!
