I have used the Mammoth Water Hydration Pack while skiing twice. The first day I had no water from the hose at all. The instruction was to use the teeth to pull out the piece inside the tube, but I couldn't. I was afraid that I would crack it or break the plastic part. Before the second day I tried it before and it was casual but I still wore it skiing. It seems to work well on slopes. Hiked in a few weeks and haven't had any issues, but I'm still not 100% sure it will continue to work properly. I'll report back if there are problems.
