First, I am over 70 with hearing challenges in the upper mid frequencies (where it’s most critical for speech). I was very skeptical with these; but did some tests on YT. First was an organ piece at the Chrystal Cathedral. WOOOW! I compared the performance with my Sony noise canceling phones. MUCH more clear in the missing frequencies. The music was exciting. Now I am and audiophile and very critical with sound. After some time of analysis, I do hear some distortion in the upper frequencies, but it is not obnoxious and I believe most will not hear it if you are hearing challenged like I am. After all, these are for us folks!Your thinking "what wrong, then?” They are sensitive to other Bluetooth signals nearby. It gets confused. After quieting BT on the near systems, it was happy. Also, it does not have a strong signal receiver like my other phones/buds. But, for reasonable distances (like 15 - 20 feet) they are just fine. I have not scientifically measured this, but I’m confident it will be good for a normal application. Also, they don’t look heavy duty or high-end. But they also don’t cost $400. They work, and that is what counts in may book. The low frequencies are boosted, but I like that; you might want a more natural bottom.I’d say: buy them!
