Bought for a thin 13" laptop. This laptop stand adapter is larger than the last one. This is a fairly standard design with the option to add stabilizing clips for larger laptops. I was pleasantly surprised "that the stand worked like a godsend without additional clips. The rubber feet on the surface of the stand were enough to keep the laptop from sliding. The presence of ventilation holes for air circulation is also a plus. My only criticism is that VESA adapter plate itself It attaches with bolts/screws to the top two of the four mounting points It would be nice if there was a way to attach to the bottom mounting points instead of the top as my laptop is a bit taller than I would like .
