My granddaughter wanted to try embroidery and these little scissors are great for sewing. (We didn't really like embroidery, but these scissors will work for other small jobs.) They're small, and the holes you put your fingers in are small. So if you have big hands, they may or may not feel too tight. accommodate fingers at all. I have small hands like my granddaughter so they fit well. They are stainless steel so should last a while. The pointed tip is very sharp. The scissors themselves are sharp enough to cut thread etc. For less than $9 (at the time of this review) these are cute/beautiful sewing or embroidery scissors that are fairly well made/constructed.
