This is a good product BUT. First, the battery life is not good at all. It has such a large display that it charges the batteries. The backlight turns on every time you press the button, which also drains the battery. Second, the screen scratches easily. It comes with a piece of plastic on the screen. I would suggest either leaving it on or buying a screen protector. If you keep it in your pocket while walking, it becomes a problem. Preset buttons are cool. Bought to listen to AM stations. I'm an old dog and I love talk radio. I tuned into a few FM stations to play some music, then switched to AM for talk radio, then back to FM. The presets didn't switch bands (AM/FM) and when you changed the preset number, the preset channels got mixed up. It's hard to explain unless you actually do it. This is very easy to miss. I am very satisfied with this product. It has some really nice features like station/key lock. This prevents unwanted changes during use. Snooze so you can turn it off automatically after a certain amount of time that you can set. I was looking for a radio to listen to while walking my dog in the morning. I only needed 40 minutes a day. This is a great little radio, but pay attention to what I've described above. I've only had the radio for a week and the batteries are already dead. This is a nice little radio and I would buy it again. My father really likes the size of the display and the light. He wished he had bought that instead of what he got.
