Didn't work for what I needed it for

I had deep cuts on my desk from having a TV on it and I was moving it around without protection from scratches (blunt, I know). When I finally hung the TV on the wall, I noticed some pretty deep scratches on the table. I have used this product on my desk and while it has helped cover up deep scratches it hasn't made the scratches any less noticeable. I think this product is best for surface scratches and discoloration. Not for what I was hoping for.
