The concept of these devices is amazing. However, the handles are not very stable. Chenille seems to wear out a bit even after 1) washing. I was hoping they would work for ceiling fans, tall shelves, and pictures. I bought some Swiffer fleece pads that can be washed and sprayed with a light furniture polish spray and I love the effect they have. They have also withstood many washes and are in perfect condition. I make cleaning for a living and plan to buy more of it. This is an update after using them many times over the past few months. The chenille heads have an elastic band that holds them on the stems. The elastics seem to deteriorate after a few washes and dryers, leaving them loose and slipping off the bars easily. Great concept, just won't hold up to multiple washes.
