Chico vs Bob? Don't waste your money on Chico.

I've had this stroller for about 2 years now. Most of the time this was our extra stroller so it wasn't used or worn out. Overall I was very disappointed with this purchase. Don't waste money! Spend an extra $$ on Bob. I have both this stroller and Bob and the difference in quality is huge and the difference in price minimal. The Chico stroller has a terrible braking mechanism that is weak at best (it only breaks one of the rear wheels, causing the stroller to spin on a steep slope) and fails at worst (the brake doesn't work at all on ours). And he creaks terribly and sometimes rubs. On the other hand, Bob has a foot brake that completely stops both wheels. Pros: A nice thing about the Chico stroller is the compatibility with the Chico car seat, which is why I bought this stroller from the start. But looking back, I wish I had bought an adapter for Bob. The Chico also features easily adjustable handlebars and a quick switch from walk to run mode on the front wheel. The seat feels comfortable for the driver. Cons: The parts feel cheap compared to our bob and the ride is shaky, especially while riding. Another annoying thing about this Chico stroller is the folding mechanism. That's very illogical. You turn the handle away from you and at the same time pull it towards you. It's embarrassing. It has an easily adjustable backrest that is comfortable for children to sleep in, but the sun visor leaves a lot to be desired. He's way too small compared to Bob, and even our umbrella stroller is ridiculously inadequate. Another weird thing is tire tubes and wheel size. The size of the front wheel and spokes makes it difficult to fit a traditional bicycle pump in the space between the rim and the spikes. Another reason for this is a poorly designed, overpriced product.
