Overpriced but buy it anyway

Very expensive but buy it for two simple reasons. 1) IMHO, this is by far the best solution. The stock XSR rear end is a huge eyesore. This thing gets rid of everything. 2) It's plug and play, which means quick and easy installation with no hidden costs. I've installed 6 fender straighteners in the last 15 years and this is the first that doesn't require you to cut anything off the bike, splice wires or search the internet for the right connector. A mediocre mechanic at best, I managed to put this thing together in just over an hour using nothing but the included hardware and a few basic hand tools. The instructions could be a bit clearer, but sufficient. A few installation tips not mentioned in the instructions: You will need a set of sockets with 8 and 10mm sockets, a 3mm allen key and small scissors to remove the zipper. Zip ties, a small pair of pliers and a lighter to heat the wire tubing. Use heat shrink tubing to insulate the license plate wire connectors. You must hang up the phone BEFORE making the connection. Be careful when disconnecting stock turn signals from the wiring harness. There is a small plastic tab that needs to be gently lifted. If you don't, it will come loose (which isn't the end of the world - just add some tape when you reconnect). Do not overtighten the M5 bolts holding the new block. It will crush the LEDs. Squeezing them is fine. The screws are nylon threaded to hold them securely.
