I have some old records that have been in storage for decades and I recently pulled them out to play on a new turntable. Some of them, I noticed, had quite a bit of static electricity - simply pulling them out of the sleeves seemed to generate static electricity, not to mention making noise like dirt or static in the grooves. I bought this product based on the existing reviews, it turned out that I was satisfied with the results of using this vinyl cleaner. I can't tell how this compares to other vinyl cleaners on the market, so take my review at face value. The only criticism is that the instructions for use are printed on the packaging in white on an orange background. My 50-year-old eyes were trying to make out the words, even on my readers. Of course, this product is self-explanatory, but the manufacturer offers a distinction between light cleaning and intensive cleaning of its product.
