Bought this zip up sweatshirt for my 9 year old daughter who is taller for her age. She is 90 pounds and almost 5 feet tall and I ordered XL. We just wanted a simple but pretty hoodie that she can wear when the AC is too cold or on rainy days (we live in the Caribbean, only 2 dry or rainy seasons). a little longer, if they grow then order one size bigger
