Revain wants me to point out transparency, thickness and ease of use. While two of these are unrelated to this product, it's definitely easy to use, just plug and play, but don't expect it to actually work with monitors. I bought it for my RV which has a very large Android head unit that I use for all my entertainment on the go. The Android head unit only has HDMI output while I have a TV and projector. This works fine as long as only one of them is on at a time, but when I turn on the projector when the TV is already on, none of them work. Keep in mind that this might just be my situation, and it could be. The Android main unit just doesn't have enough power from the HDMI port to keep the signal strong enough on each device (we're talking 25ft and 35ft HDMI cables, by the way). If you're using this with a PC to connect to monitors, or perhaps a games console with two TVs, this might work if your HDMI cables are very short. It's non-directional as far as I can tell, so it works the other way around too, allowing you to use more devices on an old TV that only has an HDMI port or two, or you can use something like a Chromecast or Roku Add Stick to your computer monitor that has only one input. Again, remember that there is no switch here, so I have no idea what will happen if you connect two inputs at the same time (this could damage your TV or monitor).
