A bit big for a key fob, but does the job. Anything that isn't made in America is stupid expensive and breaks in no time. These keys are 300 PER KEY! and decay. The actual key does not start the engine. You have to take this horrible keychain with you everywhere and it keeps breaking. It just breaks into pieces. This time the dealer's key fob broke when I stood outside and pointed it at the car to open the trunk. Suddenly all the parts except for the "motherboard" and the back of the device were lying on the floor around me. Like it split in two and just fell to the ground. This gives those expensive "keys" the bubble wrap they need to keep them in your pocket or purse without falling apart. We must ban any car, machine or part that is not 100% made in the USA. Our landfills are polluted with all this decaying, expensive, low-grade garbage. Can you tell me I won't buy another one :) God please return the keys or create a product that's half the price. For me I see $2.00 for the key and $20 for the alarm remote versus $300.00 for the key fob + necessary accessories + replacement cost every three years. I know the industry wants everyone who can swap every 3 years. and pay for life. I suspect the reason for the 3 year lifespan of the keychain. Because of this, those of us who must buy used are now forced to buy a new key fob 4 months after buying a used car, in addition to buying a second key. because they just won't give you any. one is about to break. Now I humbly step down from my soap dish. I recommend this product or similar as a second layer of protection for your keychain. The zipper is a two handed hack that defeats the purpose of the keychain but if it does add to the life and avoid the $300.00 replacement. May it be so.
