Review on Enhanced Welding Experience with Blue Demon Trueveiw Welding BDWH TRUEVIEW 9300 by Olusola Edwards

I received this welding hood this morning. Unpacking went well, switched on, everything seems fine. The problem is that the display and lens do not stay off! I hold the MODE button for 1.5-2 seconds as per the manual and the display turns off for a while, anywhere from 2-10 minutes, but then turns back on. Either the hood is defective or I'm doing something wrong. Any contribution from a seller, manufacturer or other person is welcome.
