These flashlights are small but powerful. I like that they are a lot smaller than traditional photo lights which means they take up a lot less space when shooting, which means a lot in a cramped studio like mine. A few things I'm disappointed with are 1. no remote control and 2. (could be wrong but) I thought I read in the description that it came with a USB to standard plug adapter but that's not the case. "Remote" is not removed at all. It's attached to the power cord and doesn't come off, so by definition it's not remote controlled. It's not that important to me, but it's worth mentioning.2. I have a few of those Apple adapters lying around so it wasn't a problem for me either, but if you don't have adapters it can be annoying. Tripods are of lower quality and don't rise very high (about 3.5 feet tall). I have other bases so this wasn't a problem for me, but if this is your first string of lights you might want to look into higher bases. Overall they are great for the price. They save a lot of space and are actually very bright, albeit small (about the size of a postcard). They arrived very quickly and well packaged.
