I've bought my dog countless winter coats to keep him warm when he's outside during the winter months. Every coat I've bought him somehow manages to peel and tear. It's the first coat he wears every time I put it on for inclement weather. On long days, when I come home late from work, he runs out of the shed in his coat and feels quite warm underneath. He gets very excited when I tell him to put the coat on him. I'm so happy I finally found a coat that's warm enough that it doesn't ruin it. Apparently I'm not the only one who loves this coat! Ps. My dog is a 50lb Pete/Catahoula mix. Short hair, long legs, thin body. I received it small and it fits perfectly. The only criticism is that the neck opening is larger than usual and it stretches a little after wearing it for a long time.
