I would like to give 5 stars for this rating. Before buying I asked the community if it works to keep the knee warm. I live in a cold and humid climate and have had a total knee replacement in one knee. When it's very cold, I feel metal in my knee and it gets boring. I got a lot of good answers so I decided to buy a pair. When I first put them on I really liked how they felt. It keeps the knee warm and even has an additional benefit. It acts as a moderate support for the knee. For me it was great. It was two in one! So why didn't I give 5 stars? Because, like everything I've ever bought over the years for ACE knee-highs, or any other type of sleeve, they all have one fatal flaw: they don't stay where you put them for long, especially when you seem to be active anyway to be the time when you need them most). When I came home one day after putting it on my knee, I noticed that my knee was bothering me a little, like there was too much pressure. Looking at it, I realized it was because it had slipped off my leg, leaving the top band too close to my knee and putting pressure on it. Maybe he stayed in place for an hour or so. I suppose they would be great if just sitting outside in the cold but if you go for a walk or are more active 4 stars is what I can get.
