Clumsy, unintuitive controls and charging; My device was delivered defective.

There are already many reviews for this product, so I'll just say what I like and don't like: First of all, I like it, it's durable, it has the usual functions such as aux input, charging for your mobiles Device, good sound potential, water resistance, etc. What I didn't like: It has a rather clumsy user interface, you have to hold down the power button for an indefinite, seemingly random amount of time. Volume up/down pauses the audio for a moment, which I found quite odd. The charging port is tacky in the sense that it takes an unusual amount of force to connect the micro-USB. Finally, and this is crucial, the device I received was defective. It took me a few days to discover this but basically it just went out of nowhere very quietly and then back up whenever I fiddled with it like unplugging my device, plugging it back in, turning it on and off etc I thought , I might be doing something wrong. I decided that maybe not enough power - I charged for several hours. The awkward design comes into play again because the red charge indicator flashes briefly and then goes off, and you don't know when it's fully charged. Overall I was very disappointed so I'm now sending it back and buying a UE Bpom 2 instead.
