Not very comparable to Apple Pencil but writes and highlights. I could still see the spots where my hand had accidentally pressed the screen while writing. It's a little annoying, the Apple Pencil doesn't do what I tried with my sister's Apple Pencil and it writes much more accurately. It also costs over $100 while this one is only $30. You definitely get a cheaper alternative, but you also have to deal with small annoying things. I don't use it very often to take notes, but it gets the job done.
