I received a trial size tonight, so it is difficult to evaluate after long-term use. But I'm happy with the first night so far. My 15 year old Chihuahua has many health issues, one of which is kidney disease. She had a hard time finding quality food. My vet does prescription diets, and although she's been on them for over a year, she's never really liked them, and I'm not thrilled with the ingredients either. I've researched so much about homemade diets, but it's hard to trust random recipes you find online. She's been refusing to eat more often lately, so I had to do something. I stumbled across this meal and knew I had to try it. She really seems to be enjoying it! She spits out some pieces, like carrots. Although she loves carrots I'm guessing it's the texture as she's dehydrated? I'm not sure she's a slut. After days of trying to get her to eat I almost cried when I thought she finished eating and wouldn't let me put the bowl away lol. Even though I know it's time to say goodbye, I'm so happy she has something to eat now. Making you happy is my number one priority these days so I can't thank this company enough for this meal. I only wish I had found it sooner.
