This exceeded all my expectations. It's pretty thin but absorbent. I have memory foam bathmats and the fibers take a while to dry after stepping on them. However, this rug has a quick-drying surface. I could step on it wet and it would leave marks for >10 minutes but it doesn't feel wet. It was packed in a nice little box and rolled out on the floor with no problem. The non-slip surface of the pad and the absence of any fur/cloth fibers make vacuuming up hair or dust (at the same time as mopping the bathroom floor) very easy. I was concerned that the body lotion would affect the matte finish, but after using the lotion many times on my feet it still looks the same. Because of this, I could easily see how this rug is used in the kitchen. The bonus is that this rug protects my feet from cold tile floors. It doesn't have to be frost resistant, but will feel warmer than the tile it's placed on. One thing that needs improvement is that it was a bit slippery (when I wasn't wet) when I first used it. This is no longer a problem after a few weeks of use. I got the M 17.5"*30" which is longer than the Target foam mats. I get the product for free in exchange for a review. But after using it I have no doubts that I will buy another one.
