These dance shoes are very comfortable to wear and made of soft leather. I highly recommend buying them 1 or even 1.5 sizes larger than your child's normal shoe size. These shoes (like all dance shoes) are not true to size, they are too small. My daughter's height is 10 ½ m. After reading all the previous reviews I decided to buy her 11 1/2 W. A good decision because they fit her perfectly, like gloves. They were even a bit tight and difficult to put on at first, but after a few uses they stretched a bit and were much easier to put on.
